ANNOUNCEMENTS
All members of the faculty and staff are invited to participate in
HOMECOMING 1987. There are three special events that you will want to
know about: A tribute to Dr. Duncan and Bon Voyage Party for Dr. and
Mrs. Duncan on Saturday, February 28; and a Birthday Party for Prof.
Giffin on Friday, February 27. Reservations for these and other events

On Friday, February 27, the American Studies Department will honor Dr.
Gerald Critoph who is retiring at the close of this academic year. Dr.
Critoph will speak about his 27 years of teaching at Stetson at 4:00
p.m. in Room 100 of Flagler Hall. All members of the University community are cordially invited. From: Dr. John Hague
The Stetson ROTC Ranger Team places FIRST! The nine-member team competed in a Military Skills challenge at Camp Blanding, Florida, against
20 other ROTC Ranger teams from Florida and Georgia colleges and
universities. The team members are: Sean Edwards, Jon Deinard,
Courtney Taylor, Vaughn Brown, Ricardo Cividanes, Mike Conway, Todd
Gustafson, Allen Younger, Vince Ball, and alternate Stefan Knapp. As a
result of the team's effort, the Stetson Rangers will compete against
the top 11 teams from the First ROTC Region at Fort Bragg, North
Carolina, on March 27-29 for the Regional Championship. First ROTC
Region is comprised of 118 colleges/universities along the eastern seaboard from Maine to Florida, including two universities in Puerto Rico.
