The Collegial Seminar will meet today, Friday, February 28, at noon in the Private Dining
Room. The presentation will be "From Virtue to Morality: Republicanism in the Texts and
Contexts of William James," by Paul Jerome Croce, assistant professor of history.

FULBRIGHT SCHOLAR PROGRAM. The 1993-94 competition for awards under the Fulbright Scholar
Program for postdoctoral lecturing and research abroad will open March 1. Each year over
1,000 Fulbright grants are awarded to U.S. faculty and professionals. Grantees come from
literally every area of the humanities, social sciences, and the physical sciences, as
well as from applied fields such as business, law, and TEFL. Faculty in all academic
ranks, including emeritus, are eligible to apply. For more information or applications

Rebel without a Cause? (2 Corinthians 5:16-21) is the topic for this week's Chapel Service.
In each generation of motion pictures, a movie appears that typifies that decade and its
search for meaning. This one speaks of alienation and the need for family.

A limited number of tickets are available to faculty and staff for Yevgeny Yevtushenko's
film Stalin's Funeral, which will be shown at the Marketplace cinema in Orange City on
Thursday, March 5. Call 822-7535 to place a reservation. There is no admission cost,

LAW DAY HOMECOMING will be held at the College of Law, St. Petersburg, Florida, on March
20 and 21. Florida's Lt. Governor, Buddy MacKay, will be the guest speaker at a luncheon
on Friday, March 20. Other activities include a CLE program on constitutional law, a
Stetson Lawyers Association meeting, an alumni reception, class reunions, 5K race, and
a faculty/alumni vs. students softball game. For more information, contact the College
