ANNOUNCEMENTS
A memorial service for Professor E. McGruder Faris will be held on
Monday, February 4, at 3:00 p.m. in the Great Hall of Stetson University
College of Law. There will be a brief reception immediately following
the ceremony in the Walter Mann Lounge to allow guests to talk with Helen
and Doug Faris. All students, faculty members, members of the staff,
friends, spouses, and acquaintances of Professor Faris are invited to

The speaker for the 1985 Lectures on Christian Theology will be
Dr. David L. Bartlett, Senior Minister of Lakeshore Avenue Baptist Church
in Oakland, California. Dr. Bartlett has a B.A., from Swarthmore College
and a B.D., and Ph.D., from Yale University. The theme for the series
is "Old Texts and New Problems,
