As required by the By Laws, notice is hereby given of the Annual
Meeting of the membership of the Stetson University Credit Union
to be held Thursday, March 3 at 12:00 noon in the Stetson Room of
the Carlton Union. A light lunch will be provided, courtesy of
the Credit Union. Annual reports of officers and committees and
the election of 1983-84 officers and committees will be held.
All Credit Union members are urged to attend.

If faculty members thought there were an unusual number of courses
added and dropped for the spring semester, they may be right. During
the five-day period between registration and the end of the add period,
554 students (30% of the undergraduate population) brought in 648
add/drop slips. There were 605 courses dropped and 819 courses
added during that period, for a total of 1424 transactions entered
into the computer. Outside of that, it was a quiet week.

The Spring Film Festival sponsored by the Artists and Lecturers Commit tee^egTnT~on—M^nday-7 February 21, with a showing of Lawrence Olivier's
Henry V. This film, and all that follow, will be at 7:30 p.m. in the
Stetson Room of the Carlton Union Building. The other films will be
Charlie Chaplin's Limelight on March 21, A Streetcar Named Desire
on April 18, and Children of Paradise on April 25. There is no admission charge. From: The Artists and Lecturer's Committee
Peter Starson, Assistant Director of Residential Life for Operations,
conducted a workshop at the Sigma Phi Epsilon Regional Academy in
Savannah, Georgia during the weekend of February 12-13, 1983. The
subject of the workshop was: "Rush and the Future of Fraternities on
the Nation's Campuses." From: Zula Parker
Bruce Griffiths, professor of Speech and Theatre, has been named
National Historian of Theta Alpha Pi (Theatre Honorary) for the
third consecutive two-year term, as well as serving as director of
recruitment for the Southeast region of the United States.
