NOTICE TO ALL FACULTY; The regular faculty meeting scheduled for
March 29, 1983, 7:00 p.m. in Davis Hall Auditorium will have the
following items on the agenda: (1) Presentation of the budget for
19 83-84; (2) Amendment of the Senate Bylaws, Article 3.2 to read,
"The elected officers of the Faculty Senate, together with two other
Senators appointed by the Chairman, shall comprise the Executive
Committee of the Faculty Senate."; (3) Action on a proposed change

A dinner (by invitation only) honoring faculty and professional staff
who have served the University for 25 years or more will be held

Richard Copeland, Assistant Professor of Taxation, will be speaking on
using pre-tax dollars to meet after-tax needs or how to have Uncle Sam
pay a substantial portion of your child's education; private grammar
school and/or college. The session will be held in the Faculty Lounge,
Carlton Union Building, March 29 at 3:45 p.m.

Dr. Svyatoslav H. Fyodorov, internationally known opthalmic surgeon
and scientist, will speak on the topic "My Life and Work in the Soviet
Union" on Wednesday evening, March 30 at 7:30 p.m. in Elizabeth Hall
Auditorium. All faculty and staff are invited to attend the lecture
