Reminder: SUMMER GRANT APPLICATIONS are due in the Provost's
office no later than February 14. Forms are available in Dr. Hague's

"A Century of Stetson Fashion" is the theme of a new display in
the Library. Mrs. Harry Bradford, mother of Dr. Bruce Bradford,
has lovingly and expertly sewn the outfits for and dressed 14
dolls illustrating the history of de rigeur in DeLand. Be sure
to stop in and see her handiwork. Special thanks are in order
for Mrs. Richard Morland for setting up the display.

The Artists and Lecturers Committee announces a demonstration
and slide lecture by Sam Hernandez, Chairman of the Department
of Art, Santa Clara (California) University, on January 24 from
9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Sampson Hall. His wife, Jo Farb Hernandez,
Director of Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara, will give a slide
lecture from 3:30p.m.-4:30 p.m. on that date, entitled "Day of
the Dead," placing said art in an art historical/folkloristic
perspective in regard to pre-Columbian art, beliefs, and customs.
