The Professional Development and Winter Term Committees will co-sponsor
a workshop on Tuesday, April 24, at 5 p.m. in the Faculty Lounge to
inform the faculty and administration of the plans and developments concerning Winter Term 198 5 — "Education and a Better World: Learning and
Responsibility." WT courses, one-hour "topics" courses, theme-related
course possibilities, the film festival, the speakers and forums, a
special "Big Event," involvement of the community in the Winter Term,
and the involvement of students in the community will be discussed.
All faculty and administrators are invited to participate. Dinner
following the meeting at 6:00. For reservations call ext. 245

There will be a Faculty Microcomputer Class on Thursday, April 26th
in room 205 of Elizabeth Hall. Two speakers: 4 p.m. - Dr. Paul
Steeves (Constructing Special Characters on the Commodore 64) and
4:45 p.m. - Dr. Janis Kindred (Using the Apple for Ear Training).

On Thursday, April 2 6th, the College of Law will produce a conference
on "Personnel Relations and Law" for attorneys, labor union representatives, personnel directors, and other representatives of management.
The sponsor is The Center for Labor-Management Dispute Resolution.

The Swimming Exemption Test will be given as follows: Monday, April 30,
Tuesday, May 1, Wednesday, May 2, Thursday, May 3 at 3:30 - 4:30.
