There will be an Advanced SPSS Applications Workshop offered
the last two Fridays of the Winter Term from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. in
Flagler Hall, Room 1. This workshop is for those faculty and
staff who are experienced with the use of SPSS and want to learn
more about the new features in AOS SPSS release 9. If you have
questions, please call John Schorr at ext. 298.

The Department of Residential Life will be hosting the Fifth Annual
Paint and Decoration Contest on Wednesday, January 19, 19 83.
The Stetson community is invited to tour the residence halls
between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. that afternoon. Please, also stop
at the receptions hosted by the students in the main lounge of each
building. Our special thanks are also extended to the judges:
Dr. Janis Kindred, Dr. Richard Cherry, and Mr. David Byron (Daytona
Beach News Journal).
A sales representative from Alpha Custom Micro Systems will be
on campus on Wednesday, January 19, to demonstrate the KAYPRO II
microcomputer system. This is a low-cost, fully portable microcomputer complete with word-processing, spreadsheet, and file
management software. The demonstration will be held in room IF,
Flaglar Hall at 2:00 p.m. and is open to all interested faculty and
students.
