SPRING BREAK
There will be a called meeting of the general university faculty on Tuesday, March
23, 1982, 7:00 p.m. in Room 100 of Flagler Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to
consider proposed Bylaws for the Univeristy Faculty and Faculty Senate.

ADJUSTED MEAL RATES: Effective March 1, 1982, new meal rates will be used for reimbursement of expenses for approved University travel:
Old New
Daily Meal Allowance up to: $12.00 $15.00
Individual Meals up to:
Breakfast $3.00 $4.00
Lunch $4.00 $5.00
Dinner $5.00 $6.00
(Any excessive costs for meals must be justified with receipts, as in the past, i.e.,
conference meals). Budget supervisors will keep in mind that travel account appropriations are not being increased and total travel costs will be limited to available
budgets. There is no change in mileage rates.

PURCHASE ORDERS: Requisistions for purchase orders to be charged against 1981-82
budget appropriations should be approved and delivered to purchasing agent, Everette
Johnson,- by ^Monday-i__March 29. Compliance with this date is necessary for the orderly processing of orders by vendors, deliveries, billings, and approval of invoices
by the departmens before the closing of books. Thank you for your assistance in
meeting this schedule.
