Professor Robert D. Bickel of the College of Law was recently a forum presenter at the
SACS annual meeting in New Orleans. He shared the program with Dr. D. Parker Young,
Professor, Institute of Higher Education, University of Georgia. The title of the
forum was "Update on Legal Issues in Higher Education."
Homecoming dates this year are February 20-22, 1981. If you would like a Homecoming
brochure (which includes the reservation form and ticket prices), please come by the
Alumni Office, 2nd floor DeLand Hall.
Stetson University College of Law is jointly sponsoring with the American Council on
Education and the American Association of University Administrators the second annual
mid-winter conference "Law and Higher Education: Issues for 1981" on January 11-14,
1981, at the Don CeSar Beach Resort Hotel. For more information contact Dean Bickel*s

Stetson University College of Law has announced the third annual seminar on nonprofit
organizations "Religious Nonprofit Organizations' Legal Proglems" to be held in the
Bayfront Concourse Hotel on March 13-14, 1981. For more information contact Dean

Dr. William O. Penrose, Adjunct Professor at Stetson University, has been appointed
Editor, Research Section, of Growing Minds. Growing Minds is published by Child Guidance
School Society, a non-profit organization registered under the Societies Registration
Act in India. Dr. Penrose has had an article entitled "The Teacher and The Reader,"
accepted for publication in Volume XIII, Number 2, of the Indiana Reading Quarterly.
