Today is the last day to order rental academic regalia for Spring Commencement. Please

The Health Service has been treating a large number of students for a viral infection
this past week. Any professor who would like to confirm a student's absence due to
illness may call extension 486.
Guidelines and application forms are available in the Office of the Provost for 1983
Summer Stipends from the National Endowment for the Humanities. The application
deadline is October 1, 1982. This program provides support for faculty members who are
working in the humanities to pursue two consecutive months in full-time study or
research. The work proposed may be within the applicant's special field of study or
it may be in another field that will enable them to understand their own fields better
and enlarge their competence.
All film orders for the Summer Session must be turned in to Martha Scott no later than
April 30, 1982

Stetson's Philosophy Department hosted the 1982 session of the Florida Undergraduate
Philosophy Conference. It was held February 26 and 27 at the Counseling Center. Over
40 students attended, some from as far away as North Carolina. Three Stetson students,
Geralyn Farmer, Robert Hallis, and Amy Manke, were among those presenting papers.
