ANNOUNCEMENTS
The faculty of the College of Arts and Sciences will hold its next
meeting on Monday, April 7, at 4:00 p.m. in the Davis Hall Auditorium.
The subject is the long range planning report. Please bring the copy
previously distributed. There will be no new copies there.

The Spring Blood Drive will take place on Monday, April 7, from 12:00
noon to 6:00 p.m. and Tuesday, April 8, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Red Cross will provide staff and facilities in the Stetson Room of
the Carlton Union Building. Student chairpersons are Marilyn Troup,
Delta Delta Delta, and Richard Faulkner, ROTC. To avoid delay, you
may make an appointment by calling extension 215.

Presenter: Mr. Paul Jenkins
From April 6-13, several religious organizations will be sponsoring a
Central American Information Week throughout the State of Florida.
Many guest speakers will be addressing audiences in the central
Florida area, including DeLand. Mr. Rusty Davenport, a project
officer in Central America for Oxfam America, will speak at the
Political Forum on Monday, April 7, 12:30 p.m., Room 319 Elizabeth
Hall, and also on Wednesday, April 9, 7:00 p.m. in the Elizabeth Hall
Auditorium. He will address the topic of U.S. policy toward Central
America. Following the talk on Wednesday, there will be a panel
