Last Day of Classes
The Faculty Senate will meet in regular session on May 4 at 6:45 p.m. in the Private
Dining Room of the CUB. Senators for '82-83 are requested to attend. The agenda
will include the election of officers for next year. Dinner (reservations required)
will be served at 6:00 p.m.
AWAPDS ASSEMBLIES: Awards for leadership and service will be presented on
Wednesday, May 5 at 10:00 a.m. in Elizabeth Hall Auditorium. Awards for academic
achievement will be presented on Friday, May 7 at 10:00 a.m. in Elizabeth Hall Auditorium.
Faculty and spouses are reminded that they are invited to the President's Reception
honoring students who are graduating on Saturday evening, May 15, 1982, 7:00-8:15 p.m.

INFORMATION CONCERNING COMMENCEMENT. ALL FACULTY PLEASE NOTE:
Baccalaureate: The baccalaureate service will be held in the Edmunds Center at 8:30
a.m., Sunday, May 16. The platform party will assemble in the President's Lounge in
Edmunds Center at 8:10 a.m. The faculty line-of-march will form at 8:00 a.m. in the
corridor of Edmunds Center.
Commencement: The graduation exercises will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 16
in the Edmunds Center. The platform party will assemble for commencement in the lobby
of Emily Hall at 1:30 p.m. The faculty line-of-march will form in the rear of Emily
Hall at 1:30 p.m.
All faculty members are expected to attend both services in full academic regalia
unless officially excused. Thank you.

Faculty and Staff are reminded that the Bookstore will be closed for inventory from
May 17 through June 1. All year-end purchases, whether departmental charge or cash,
must be completed by May 15.
