The Audiovisual Department will be closed March 15-19, 1982. If you need any adio-
visual equipment during this time, please see Martha Scott no later than March 12,
1982.
The Frontiers Program was established after the success of "Earth Day—10 Years
After" in 1980. The program of lectures, seminars, exhibits and workshops seeks to
explore a wide-ranging topic from the various points of view of Stetson's diverse
disciplines.
This year's topic, "The Computer in Society," is scheduled April 15-17 and has received support from the Faculty Development Committee, Artists and Lecturers, Student
Union Board, this office and others around campus.
Exhibits will be displayed in the Edmunds Center throughout the three-day program.
Seminars by guest speakers and Stetson faculty will be conducted Friday and Saturday
only. Topics include computer use in education, foreign language, business, music,
law,, sports, artificial intelligence and the space program. You will be receiving
more details in the weeks ahead.
The program has been developed with students, faculty and the general public in mind,
and your support is encouraged.

Dr. Ted Beiler has been appointed to the Society Committee on Education by Dr. Robert
Parry, President of the American Chemical Society.
Dr. Richard Cherry has recently had a chapter accepted for a new book: Productivity
Through Work Innovations, to be published this September by the Work in America Institute, Inc. The title of his chapter is: The Development of General Motors Team
Based Southern Plants.
