ANNOUNCEMENTS
THE UNIVERSITY FACULTY WILL MEET TODAY, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2006, at 12:00 noon in the Stetson
Room. A light lunch will be served beginning at 11:45 a.m. The agenda includes a presentation by Jillian Kinzie,
Associate Director, National Survey of Student Engagement Institute for Effective Educational Practice. Dr. Kinzie will
share results of the recent NSSE survey conducted at Stetson, and will also be meeting at other times with smaller
groups of Stetson faculty and staff to help use NSSE data to identify aspects of the undergraduate experience inside
and outside the classroom that can be improved through changes in policies and practices more consistent with good
practices in undergraduate education.

Commencement for graduate students is Friday, December 15, at 7:00 p.m. and the undergraduate ceremony is
Saturday, December 16, at 9:00 a.m. Both ceremonies will be held in the Edmunds Center.
