THE UNIVERSITY FACULTY WILL MEET FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2006, at 12:00 noon in the Stetson Room. A
light lunch will be served beginning at 11:45 a.m. Agenda items include a discussion of the University vision.

RESEARCH INVOLVING HUMAN PARTICIPANTS. Those faculty and students who plan to perform research with
human participants should review Stetson University's Policy on Research Involving Human Participants, at:

This policy describes not only the primary issues considered by the Institutional Review Board for Human Participants,
but also describes what types of projects are exempt from review. In addition, you will find a link to information
regarding how to submit a proposal to the IRB for Human Participants. That information can also be found by directly

TUITION EXCHANGE OPPORTUNITIES. Guidelines and preliminary applications for the Tuition Exchange
Scholarship program for 2007-2008 are available. Contact Ann Fick at [email protected] or Ext. 8946 to receive a
copy of the TE Guidelines and Preliminary Application. These forms are also located at
http://www.stetson.edu/hr/forms.php.
Employees who are considering this option for their dependent students are encouraged to turn in preliminary
applications as soon as possible so the information can be submitted to the other schools. No applications will be
