UNIVERSITY WORSHIP SERVICE

I want to express my sincerest appreciation to each Faculty member who
was present at the reception for parents on Saturday morning. I was very
pleased that so many faculty members were able to come and to give parents
an opportunity to speak with them. We find that one of the things which
parents most want to do is to have opportunity to meet those faculty
members who are teaching their sons and daughters.

I would like to express my appreciation to the faculty for their very excellent participation in the President's Reception which was held for
students and parents during Parent's Weekend. I have heard many comments
indicating what a fruitful time it was for students and parents alike.
All who had a part in planning the activities of Parent's Weekend certainly
ought to be commended for an excellent program. I hope that all faculty
members will keep in mind the importance of participation in affairs such
as these. /s/ Thomas J. Turner
This is a reminder that Grade Inventories are due in the Registrar's
Office, Monday, March 17. Please note that only D & F grades should be
reported. /s/ Thomas J. Turner
All faculty and staff are please reminded of the University's firm policy
that there be no sales calls, solicitation, canvassing, surveying, et al.,
on University property without prior arrangements and approval through the
Dean of Student Affairs. Any authorized representatives will have guest
passes. The policy is for the protection of the faculty and student body.
Your help in adhering to the policy will be appreciated.
