Losasso or Joe Dowdell at the Bookstore to place the order.
Mr. Ernie Beals of the College Entrance Examination Board will be available on Thursday,
March 26 from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. in rooms 204/5 of the CUB. Mr. Beals will discuss
current programs and services of the College Board and College Scholarship Service.
All faculty and administrative staff are urged to attend these sessions.
FACULTY! There have been many students missing classes because of a virus going around
campus. If you have a question concerning the absences of these students please call
Janice Hess in Health Services at ext. 486.
All faculty members who are serving as advisors for any student organization are encouraged to remind their student officers that a charter renewal form and a current
constitution must be filed in the Office of Student Affairs by April 15, if the organization intends to receive official recognition as a Stetson organization in 1981-82.
The Stetson University College of Law will present a lecture by Dr. Tao-Tia Hsia, Chief
of the Far Eastern Division Library of Congress, on Friday, March 27 at 10-11 a.m. in
classroom "D". He will speak on the topic "The Strengthening of the Legal System in
the Peoples Republic of China." For more information contact Alice Ruffner,813-343-3837.
Dr. Margaret W. Horton was a featured speaker at a state FTP-NEA conference on "Institutional Issues" at the Hilton Inn Florida Center in Orlando, March 6-7. Dr. Horton's
topic dealt, with Teacher Evaluation. Three hundred representatives from all counties
in Florida attended.
Michael W. Raymond read his paper "imagined Responses to the Vietnam War in Going After
Cacciato" at the International Conference on the Fantastic in the Arts, March 18-21.
The following students will be away on a biological field trip (with Dr. Norman) to the
Fahkahatchee Strand and Corkscrew Swamp on March 20-22, 1981.
