SUMMER OFFICE HOURS: Once again during the summer season, the University administrative
office hours will be adjusted. As is our longstanding practice, the clerical force work
schedule will be reduced to 35 hours. Offices will be open for service Monday-Friday
from 8:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00. The summer Schedule will be observed from Monday, May 18
through Friday, August 28. Administrative staff personnel will maintain standard hours
until 4:30. You may also wish to note the two national holidays which will be observed
during the summer season: Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, and Independence Day, Friday,

The Stetson Spring Blood Drive will take place on Monday and Tuesday, April 20-21,
from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Stetson Room of the Carlton Union Building. Student
co-chairmen are Laurie Fambro, Delta Delta Delta Sorority and Scott Garrett, ROTC. To
avoid the long lines, make an appointment by calling Ext. 215.
Dr. Earl Joiner has just received word that Skip Holmes, the son of Ed Holmes, who
taught at Stetson for several years, was recently drowned in a Whitewater accident.
For those who remember him and may wish to write, his address is 110 Leroy Ave,

Charles Vedder presented the results of his 1981 Winter Term Course entitled "Analyzing
Social Settings: A' Workshop" at the session, Techniques for Teaching Undergraduate
Sociology. The paper was presented at the Southern Sociological Society annual meeting
in Louisville, Kentucky, April 8-11.
