Examination Schedule:
Classes will end on Wednesday, August 3, and final examinations are scheduled for
Thursday, August 4, and Friday, August 5, as follows:
9:10 classes Thursday, August 4 8:30- 10:30
10:20 classes Thursday, August 4 1:30- 3:30
1:30 classes Thursday, August 4 7:00- 9:00 p.m.
11:30 classes Friday, August 5 8:30- 10:30
8:00 classes Friday, August 5 1:30- 3:30
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Commencement will be on Friday, August 5 at 8:00 in the
Elizabeth Hall Auditorium. All faculty members are specifically requested to plan
to be in academic attire to march in the procession, which will form at 7:30 p.m. ,
in the main corridor of Elizabeth Hall.
TO ALL FACULTY AND STAFF: Recently Carolyn Dial has received several requests
from Faculty and Staff wishing to borrow Audio-Visual equipment for non-Stetson
off-campus use.
Unfortunately these requests cannot be honored.
Our equipment resources are extremely limited, old, and in constant need of repair. The
equipment maintenance budget is very small, as well. For these reasons plus the
obvious one that equipment is needed for instructional purposes, AV equipment will not
be circulated to off-campus groups, commercial or religious.
UNIVERSITY-WIDE PICNIC
We're going to do it again! ! Since we had such a great response to the 1976 University-
wide picnic, we're going to pull out the stops and try it again.
The PICNIC will be August 1, from 4:00 o'clock to sundown at DeLeon Springs Recreation Area. There will be swimming, canoeing, fishing and plenty of good food for everyone.
The PICNIC will be entirely free for Stetson University students, employees, and their
families. We ask, however, that you go by Room 213 of the Carlton Union Building and
pick up a ticket so we'll know how many to expect. Plan to join us for a GREAT AFTERNOON. /S/Perry White
