The Spring Semester meeting of the Faculty has been scheduled for
March 15, 1979, at 7:00 p.m. in Flagler Hall, Room 100. In addition, to
other business the President will make a presentation related to the
1979-80 budget for the University and the status of the capital fund

The Education Department received a third year grant from HEW(Bureau of
Education for the Handicapped) of $20,000 to work with regular classroom
teachers and parents of children with learning disabilities. During the
3-year period Stetson has received a total grant award of $75,000. The
grant proposals were written by Dr. Coffee, Dr. Arnold, and Mrs. Homan.
One phase of the grant was The 3rd Annual Exceptional Student Education
Conference held in January. Approximately 300 educators from 9 counties
attended the session. _______
WATS Line Service: For a limited period it is necessary that the Uni-
versity engage in a special survey of former students who participated
in a government funded program. The WATS line will be reserved for purposes of this survey on the following schedule:
Monday, March 12: 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, March 13: 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Wed., March 14: 12:00 noon to 12:30 p.m.
Thurs., March 15: 12:00 noon to 12:30 p.m.

Richard & Arlene Feasel attended the Golden Anniversary Convention of
the American Bandmasters Association in Montgomery, Ala., Feb.28-Mar.3.
Mr. Feasel was elected to membership in 1955. The convention involved
performances of new works with the composers present, or conducting.
Nathan Walker Mclntyre was born February 28, 1979 to Carolyn (Walker) and
John Mclntyre. Maternal grandparents are May Will and LaFayette Walker.
Casey Dagenhardt, John Joiner, John Tucker, Mickey Nolen, Bill Stover,
Bill Ward, Jim Butterfield, and Marc Siegel.
The above named students will be absent from class on the following dates
while participating in tennis matches.
