PLEASE NOTICE: The Inauguration of President Duncan will be held on March 10 at
10:30 A.M. in the First Baptist Church. All faculty members will be expected to participate
in the line-of-march which will form upstairs in the Educational Building at 10:00 a.m. Full
academic regalia will, of course, be required.
A cordial invitation to all faculty families to attend the function is hereby tendered. We hope
they can be present also.
Please announce to your classes: If you plan to intern in the fall of 1978, please meet in
Room 100, Flagler Hall, Wednesday, March 8 OR Thursday, March 9 at 3:00 P.M.
The date for reporting the Grade Inventory for the Spring Semester is Monday, March 6.
These grades should be reported to the Registrar's Office. The last day to drop a course
without academic penalty is Monday, February 27. _^^
REMINDER: All items submitted for the Faculty Bulletin must be signed before they may

Dr. David, Business School, participated in a conference on the corporate world in
Washington, D. C. , February 16 and 17 featuring speakers: Michael Maccoby, author of
best seller The Gamesmen: The New Corporate Leaders: Rosabeth Moss Kanter, Sociology
professor at Yale and author of Men and Women of the Corporation; Sydney Harman, Under
Secretary of Commerce; Elsa Porter, Assistant Secretary for Administration of the Department of Commerce; Robert Terry and Beverley Ann Scott, consultants on planned organizational change. This conference is the seventh in a series of Issues Conferences sponsored
by the American Association of University Women to focus on major domestic concerns.
The Artist-Lecturer's Committee is sponsoring a lecture by Mr. Ed Albin entitled, "African
Arts and Their Impact on Arts in the 20th Century" at 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 27, in
Sampson Hall Gallery. Many of you will recall that Mr. Albin taught here at Stetson during
the summers of 1950, 51, and 52 in the "20th Century Arts and Letters, " and interdisciplinary
course in the arts. There will be a reception for Mr. and Mrs. Albin following his lecture.
Dr. G. Libby, teaching in the Department of Art, has been selected as Chairman of the Latin
American and Caribbean Section of the Southeast College Art Conference annual meeting in
Little Rock, Arkansas. He will also read a paper on "Contemporary Florida Art" in the
evening General Session. His article on English portrait painter, Pati Bannister, appeared
in the January issue of Southwest Art. An article on American illustrator Mr. M. Kunstler
will appear in April issue of Southwest Art. A monography on English Clockmaking with Mr.
D. Cox of the English Department printed by the Fine Arts Council of Florida chosen as a first
in their monograph series will appear in March.
