There has been an outbreak of flu on our campus. Many of our students have been
affected and have had to miss classes. The length of the illness has been about five
days. If there is any question concerning a student who has missed classes, there is
a list kept in the Student Affairs Office and Health Service of excused absences. Due
to the large number of students involved, it is impossible to notify all professors.

At the recent conference sponsored by the Comparative Literature Circle of the
Florida State University, Mr. Gary Libby of our English Department presented a
paper, "The Use of Painting in Contemporary Film. " Congratulations, Mr. Libby.
The final examination schedule for the spring semester which you received through
the Faculty Bulletin is correct. The copy that appeared in the Reporter on 2/18/77
is incorrect, due to a typographical error. A correct copy will appear in this week's
Reporter.
The Grade Inventory for the spring semester is due in the Registrar's Office Monday,
March 7. Please report even if you have no D's or F's to record.
