All faculty members are cordially invited to the President's Homecoming Reception, 9:00 A.M.
February 11. In case of rain, the reception will be held in the Student Lounge, Carlton Union
Building.
All requisitions for purchase orders against 1977-78 budget accounts should be instituted in
the near future. The final date for purchase orders to be issued this year is March 23. The

We deeply mourn the loss of Mrs. Mary Lou Palmer, who served well the Office of Student
Affairs for the last 17 years. Mrs. Palmer died in Fish Memorial Hospital on February 1.
The family and friends have requested that, in lieu of flowers, any monetary contributions be
given to the Student Emergency Loan Fund, which is now being renamed in her honor the
Mary Lou Palmer Emergency Loan Fund. Contributions to be made in the office of Student
Affairs.
