PLEASE NOTE: The Faculty meeting scheduled for January 26 has been cancelled.
The Artists and Lecturers Committee is bringing the National Shakespeare Co. to Stover
Theatre for a single production of Shakespeare's OTHELLO on Tuesday night, January 24th at
8:00 P.M. Please announce to all classes- faculty and students must be in their seats by 7:30
as the public will be admitted after that time. There are no reserved seats. No charge for
those with I. D. cards.
The Department of Education was again awarded a federal project grant for Special Education
in the amount of $25, 000 for the year 1977-1978.
Dr. Ruth Arnold will be speaking at the FLAG Conference in Daytona Beach on the topic "Using
Guilford's Structure of Intellect to teach the gifted. " FLAG is the Florida Association for the
Gifted.
Dr. Ruth Arnold and Mrs. Catherine Homan presented the different aspects of the Federal
Project to all of the Dean's of Education in the State of Florida at Florida Southern in Lakeland.
Mrs. Catherine Homan will be presenting the Federal Project in Special Education in Atlanta,
Georgia on January 20, 1978. ^
Sugar 'N Spice Day Care Center would appreciate the donation of any children's books (ages 4-5).
