Week of January 14, 1979
University Worship Services during the Winter Term will be under the
direction of the Stetson Ministerial Association. The Services will be
on Wednesdays from 10:50 - 11:20 a.m. Please make note of this time
change for Winter Term.
On planning your schedule for the semester, please note that the class
schedule for Thursday, February 8 will be modified in the following manner:
8:00 a.m. classes meet 8:00 - 8:50 a.m.
9:25 a.m. classes meet 9:00 - 9:50 a.m.
10:50 a.m. classes meet 11:00-12:05 p.m.
These are the same changes that were made last September 28 and are being
made for the preaching series to be held at 10:00 a.m. on February 7, 8,
and 9. The speaker will be Dr. Theron D. Price, professor of religion
at Furman University.
AAUP meeting Tuesday, January 16, 1979, at 6:30 p.m. in the Faculty Lounge.
Doug Lee, Vice-President for Development, will provide an update on our
development program and discuss some general considerations in fund raising,

PRE-LAW SEMINAR
The Department of History is sponsoring a "Pre-Law Seminar: the Practice
of Law" in the Johns Room (315, Elizabeth Hall) at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday,
January 17. Four DeLand attorneys, James Clayton, Alice Fogle, Anthony
Provitola, and Frank Newman will talk about the practice of law. We will
be glad to have any interested student or faculty member.
