Please note that the open period for insurance policy changes allows movement from the
HMO to Prudential as well as from Prudential to the HMO.
The U. S. Postal Service will shortly begin new dimensional standards for first class mail.
All University departments should be aware of these requirements. Both small size and
oversize envelopes for first class mailing are to be avoided. If your departmental supplies
now include any such special envelopes, they should not be restocked. Specific details
will be gladly furnished by the University Post Office. Is/ H. G. Edmondson
As the University continues planning for facilities renovation and certain departmental
relocations, an updating and expansion of our classroom facilities information is needed.
Supplemental information beyond that available in student registration data will be needed.
Your assistance and cooperation with Mr. Jon Davies in accumulating the needed information

Hatter Holiday will be Friday and Saturday, April 14 and 15. The weekend will open with
a concert by the Mission Mountain Wood Band at 6:00 p.m., Friday, April 14 at Hulley Tower
and will continue at DeLeon Springs on Saturday. A fifty cents ticket gains you admission to
the park and a meal. Tickets may be purchased in the Mini Sub between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p. m

The deadline for submission of vitaes for consideration in the Scholar's Award for Outstanding
Academic Excellence is Friday, April 21. This award is for academic work performed in the
year 1977 which aids in upholding the reputation of Stetson as a place of academic excellence.
All publications, addresses, non-Stetson academic honors, participation in colloquia, and
other academically oriented activities should be included if you do not desire to submit a
copy of your vitae. Address all materials to the Academic Affairs Committee, Student
Assembly, Box 428.
The following students will be attending a Debate or Forensics Tournament this weekend at
Monmouth College, Monmouth, New Jersey. They will be absent from classes on April 18
through April 25: Kim Swoyer, Ellen Covert, Michele Miles, Cheri Varnadoe, Monica Wiebe,
Diane Patrick, Liz Paz, Libby Stan, Jeff Crowe, Jim McCarty, Jack Pelzer, Tony Julian,
Bill Bennett, and Paul Bisso. These fourteen students have individually qualified to attend
this national tournament and are the very best of the sixty-five students involved in Forensics
this year.
