STETSON UNIVERSITY
FACULTY BULLETIN
Volume XXVII
Number 32 Week of May 15, 1977
Commencement will be held in the Edmunds Center on Sunday, May 15. The baccalaureate
service will be at 9:30 a.m. and the graduation ceremony at 2:00 p.m. The faculty
line-of-march will form at 9:00 a.m. and again at 1:30 p.m. in the inside corridor of
the west side of the Edmunds Center. All faculty members are expected to attend, in
full regalia, unless officially excused.
During the interim between the spring semester and summer session all campus
facilities will be closed or operated on adjusted and greatly reduced schedules. Your
general planning should assume that only those buildings with administrative offices will
be open during office hours and that all other areas of the University will be closed.
Regular custodial services will not be provided and those personnel will be reassigned
for general spring cleaning.

I am glad to have this opportunity to tell each one goodbye. Friday, May 13, is my
last day of work at Stetson University. I am quitting fulltime work entirely and while
I do not plan to be a "lady of leisure", I am looking forward to having more time for the
things I have not been able to do during my work here. Thank you for treating me so
kindly and I have enjoyed working with all of you in whatever capacity it was. I know
you will treat Mrs. Sandra Greenwald, my successor, in the same manner.

Professors Dwaine Cochran and Joel Wright directed a workshop on May 5 in Daytona
Beach at the annual meeting of the Florida Association of Health and Social Services.
Their topic was "An Evaluation Strategy for Mental Health Agencies. "
Professor Joel Wright will be in Tallahassee on May 13 to participate in a meeting with
federal and state officials on the topic of "Research Opportunities on the Aging in the
Behavioral Sciences. " He is one of fifty people throughout the state to be invited to
attend.
The Bookstore will be closed for inventory beginning Monday, May 16, and continuing
through May 31, 1977. No transactions of any sort will be allowed during this period
of time. Thank you for your cooperation.
