There will be a General Faculty Meeting on April 25 at 7:00 p.m. in Davis Hall.
There will be a meeting of the faculty of the College of Liberal Arts for the purpose of
discussion and action on the drop dates immediately following the General Faculty Meeting
on April 25.

For your planning the University will begin observing summer hours Monday, May 16,
continuing through Friday, September 2. Hours will be 8:00-12:00 noon, and 12:30-3:30 p.m.
Please note this National holiday schedule. Monday, July 4, will be an official University
holiday. Since the traditional Labor Day holiday will coincide with the opening of the fall
semester the University is substituting the Memorial Day holiday which will be observed on
Monday, May 30. The University has never observed Memorial Day as a paid holiday and
it is to be understood that this paid holiday will substitute for the previously scheduled
Labor Day paid holiday.

Maintenance Department/Employee Group Insurance Desk: These functions are now located
in Cummings Gymnasium, ground level. Telephone extensions remain the same (Maintenance
-305, Group Insurance-305, Mr. Emerson-304); entrance is by the stairs on the south
side of the building.

Grades for students graduating are due in the Registrar's Office at 8:00 a.m. , Thursday,
May 12. Special arrangements must be made for fjrradnarjng seniors and masters' candidates
scheduled for examinations after Wednesday, May 11.
All other grades are due in the Registrar's Office at 8:00 a.m. , Tuesday, May 17.
The following people have been asked to serve on the 1978 Winter Term Committee:

There will be a free pap smear clinic for all Stetson female faculty and staff sponsored by
the American Cancer Society April 18 and 19. Anyone interested should contact Mrs. Janet
Hess, extension 486, as soon as possible.
