REMINDER to all faculty members in the College of Liberal Arts : If you have not already
returned your faculty schedule cards to Dean Chauvin's office, kindly do so.
The Phi Alpha Theta luncheon at which Chancellor J. Ollie Edmunds will speak concerning
his recent African trip will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 14, rather than
12:30 as was mistakenly reported last week.
Dr. William Johnson's essay, "Lewis, Barfield, and Imagination" has appeared in Man's
Natural Powers: Essays for and About C. S. Lewis. The collection was published by
Onny Press in Surrey, England.
We are in need of several more courses in order to fill out our schedule for the Adult
Enrichment Program. If you have a course you would like to offer, please contact Ed
Settgast at your earliest convenience. A variety of good offerings is essential and only
four to eight hours of your time and talents will help to ensure a successful program.
Dr. John L. Hodges, professor of foreign languages, has been re-elected president of the
Stetson Credit Union.
Elected with Dr. Hodges were Dr. Jesse Berry, vice-president, and Everette Johnson,
secretary-treasurer.
Serving as supervisory committee members are Dr. T. W.Beiler, Dr. Rob Brady and Dr.
Richard Morland. Dr. Robert Fox, Mrs. Lucy Grant and Mr. Jack Fortes serve on the credit
committee.
A six percent dividend was paid on share deposits for the year 1975, and a semi-annual
dividend will be paid on deposits in 1976.
Using a payroll deduction plan, Stetson faculty and staff have the convenience of saving and
borrowing. Savings are insured up to $2, 000 at no extra cost to the member.
The Credit Union has provided a unique financial service to its members at Stetson for almost 20 years.
