Effective Monday, May 17, the University will begin observing its longstanding custom of a 35
hour summer work week for administrative offices. Hours will be from 8:00 to 12:00, and 12:30
to 3:30. These hours will remain in effect through Friday, September 3.
Administrative offices will observe the July 4 holiday on Monday, July 5. Please note in advance that the fall semester will begin on Sunday, September 5, and therefore Monday, September
6, Labor Day, cannot be observed as a University holiday. The substitute holiday will be Friday, August 27.
The Faculty Senate will meet next Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. in the private dining room of the Carlton
Union Building. Remember that all faculty members are welcome at any meetings of the Senate.
No courses may be dropped at this date without academic penalty. Kindly call this to the attention of your students when necessary.
1975-76 Purchase Order Cut-off:
All requisitions for Purchase Orders against 1975-76 budget accounts should now be in process.
Final Purchase Orders for this year will be written by May 1. The cooperation of all Budget
Supervisors is appreciated.
The women's intercollegiate tennis team played the University of South Florida, April 21.
The members of the team are: Mandy Parson, Kathy Coffee, Debbie Fowler, Jill Jinks, Sally
Sellner, and Debbie Horton.
The following students were absent on Wednesday afternoon, April 14th,to play in a tennis match
at Embry-Riddle: Rick Yoerg, Ken Persson, Ric Edleson, Jim McCarty, Lee Shannon, Gary Deckert,
Jon Davies, and Chip Winston.
The following students were absent all day on Friday, April 16th,to play in a tennis match at
Eckerd College: Rick Yoerg, Ken Persson, Ric Edleson, Jim McCarty, Lee Shannon and Chip Winston.
