There will be a meeting of the faculty of the College of Liberal Arts March 13 at 7 P.M.
in Elizabeth Hall Auditorium.
We wish to announce the appointment of Darrell D. Benge as Comptroller for the
University. Mr. Benge is a CPA and most recently served as chief fiscal officer for
a major financial institution. He and his wife Marian reside in Sanford with their two
children. We look forward to introducing him to the faculty at the next meeting.
Keese Perry has resigned to enter private business in another state.

Pre-registration for the summer session and fall semester will be April 14, 15, and 16.

Anthony Burgess, author of numerous books including A Clockwork Orange, will
speak on Tuesday, March 11, at 8:00 P.M., in the Edmunds Activities Center as part
of the Stetson University Artists and Lecturers Committee series. Admission is by
I. D. cards.
Burgess, whose latest book is entitled Napoleon Symphony, is not only a popular
novelist, but a literary scholar and lecturer. His address includes readings from his
own works as well as excerpts from a wide range of British writers from William
Shakespeare to James Joyce.
