The next meeting of the Curriculum Committee of the College of Liberal Arts will
be held Monday, April 21st at 10:00 A.M. in Allen Hall. Department heads are
encouraged to note this date and send proposals which need to be considered by the
committee to Dr. Walker, Chairman.
The run-off election for the McEniry Award for Teaching Excellence will be held
April 21-23. The following names will be on the list for this election:

Dr. Herwig Wulf, Visiting Professor of English from the Paedagogische Hochschule
in Freiburg, will give a slide lecture about Germany on April 23, at 7:30 P.M. in
the Stetson Room. There will be a reception afterwards sponsored by the Departments of English and Foreign Languages.
This year's Awards Assembly will be April 28th at 10:00 A.M. in Elizabeth Hall. If
you have students in your department or division to receive awards, please contact
the Office of Student Affairs. We will be glad to provide further information.
The Stetson Chapter of the AAUP will meet on Tuesday evening, April 29, at 7:30
P.M. in the Faculty Lounge. There will be a discussion of tenure and promotion
policy and an election of officers. All Faculty members are welcome.
Mr. Joe Branch and Mr. Jay Bennett, senior chemistry majors, have just received
appointments to the University of Florida Summer Research Program in Chemistry.
