The May 1 meeting of the faculty of the College of Liberal Arts has been cancelled.
The faculty line-of-march will form at 9:30 A.M. and again at 1:30 P.M. on May
11 in the inside corridor of the west side of Edmunds' Center. This is the same
corridor used last fall for the dedication ceremony. . . Thank you.

The Stetson chapter of the AAUP will meet on Tuesday evening, April 29, at
7:30 P.M. in the Faculty Lounge. There will be a discussion of tenure and
promotion policy and an election of officers. All Faculty members are welcome.
Stetson may nominate two students for Danforth Fellowships, the highly competitive national scholarship for up to four years of graduate study by prospective
college teachers/administrators. Please advise any current juniors who plan on
college teaching as a career and whom you think would be good candidates (they
should have the prospect of graduating with honors) to register by September 17
for the October 18, 1975 administration of GRE. (Late registration with a penalty
fee is still possible up to September 24. ) For further information, contact C.

Effective Monday morning, May 12, the University will begin observing its longstanding custom of a 35-hour summer work week for administrative offices.
Hours will be from 8:00 to 12:00, and 12:30 P.M. to 3:30. These hours will remain
in effect through Friday, August 29, 1975.
Since July 4 will be on Friday this year the administrative offices will observe the
holiday on July 4. (This is not a statement for the academic calendar. ) The
University will not be in session on Labor Day, September 1, and we will observe
