EXAM SCHEDULE: Classes will end on Wednesday, August 4, and final exminations
are scheduled for Thursday, August 5, and Friday, August 6, as follows:
9: 00 Thursday, August 5 8: 30-10: 30
10: 20 Thursday, August 5 1: 30- 3: 30
1: 30 Thursday, August 5 7: 00- 9: 00 p.m.
9: 10 Friday, August 6 8: 30-10: 30
11: 30 Friday, August 6 1: 30- 3: 30
Final grades for anyone to receive a degree, graduate or undergraduate, on August
6, must be in the Registrar's Office no later than 8: 00 a.m. on Wednesday, August
4. You should, therefore, plan to give special final examinations, if necessary, to
any degree candidate prior to that time. Final grades of students other than degree
candidates are due in the Registrar's Office by 8: 00 a.m. on Monday, August 9.
We wish to extend our deepest sympathy to Dr. O. LaFayette Walker whose mother
passed away Sunday, July 18,
Please contine to remember that conservation of energy, particularly electricity, is
of vital importance. The success of this program depends upon the cooperation from
each one in the University family. Please be thoughtful and not careless, turning off
all lights and equipment when not needed. Thank you.
The Student-Faculty-Administration Retreat will be held November 12 and 13 at Lake
George Assembly. The structure will be very similar to the very successful session
which was held during April of 1975. Please put these dates on your calendar and plan
to attend this important conference.
WANTED: 2 part-time "checkpoint" persons for duPont-Ball Library. One shift
evenings during week - 6pm to 11pm. Responsible for closing Library. (20 hrs. a week)
One weekend shift, including Sunday nights. Responsible for closing Library.
(17 hrs. a weekend).
Some college helpful. Minimum wage. Apply office, duPont-Ball Library. Ext. 442.
Cardiac screening will be available on campus on August 2. Appointments must be made
by Friday afternoon, July 23. Call the Stetson Health Service for your appointment,
Ext. 217. Please don't miss this opportunity.
