THE UNIVERSITY FACULTY WILL MEET TODAY, FRIDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2005, at 12:00 noon in the Stetson
Room. A light lunch will be served beginning at 11:45 a.m. Agenda items include a report by Dr. Lee on the
recent Trustee meeting, and faculty will vote on the motion, "Tenured library faculty will be granted full voting
privileges in the University Promotion and Tenure Committee."

PROMOTION AND TENURE CALENDAR. According to the universal 2005-2006 Promotion/Tenure Calendar,
department faculty have until Monday, October 24, to submit their evaluation letters to their respective
Department Chair/ Music Associate Dean. Portfolios and departmental/supervising librarian recommendations are
due to the Dean or Library Director by Monday, October 31, and then forwarded to the College/School/Library
committee by Friday, November 4.
