Storytelling event Fray Day returns to Stetson. Fray Day is returning to Stetson on Tuesday, Nov. 16, after being
delayed and relocated due to the hurricanes. (The storms did provide great fodder for true personal stories,
though.) Fray Day Central Florida will be held in the Stetson Room at 7 p.m. An annual worldwide literary event
celebrating personal storytelling, the event will largely consist of an open mic, so anyone - faculty, staff, family
members, students, members of the community - can get up and tell a story. The only rules: Stories must be true,
focus on the speaker's personal experiences, and be told in fewer than five minutes.
Feel free to let classes know about it; it's a great opportunity to put public speaking skills to the test, read from a
personal essay, or just listen to some great true stories. Cultural credit will be, of course, available.
