Last Day to Change Meal Plan Selection

The Faculty Senate will meet September 10, 2001 in the Faculty Lounge in the Carlton Union Building. Senators
and invited guests meet for dinner at 6:00 p.m. The meeting begins at 6:45 p.m. The primary item of business

NEH Summer Stipends
Stetson can nominate two faculty members for the 2001 NEH Summer Stipends competition, which provides
$5000 for two consecutive months of full-time study and research. Those interested in applying should first
become familiar with the criteria provided on the NEH website at
(http://www.neh.fed.us/grants/onebook/fellowships.html)
and then submit a brief summary of the proposed project to Associate Dean Karen Kaivola by Friday, September
7. In the event that more than two faculty members express interest, proposals will be evaluated by the Deans.
The NEH prefers that a junior faculty member receive one of these two nominations.
Applications must be received by the NEH by October 1.

Attention Faculty:
You are invited to cross-list appropriate courses for the 2002 spring semester with the Women and Gender
Studies Program. During the past year, courses for the WGS minor have been offered through American Studies,
Communications, English, Philosophy, Psychology, Religious Studies, and Sociology. Courses in any field can be
considered for this program.

Off-Campus Trips: If your department is planning an Off-Campus trip for the academic year 01-02, please submit
your itineraries, syllabus, and flight plans to The Center for International Education on or before October 1, 2001.
