ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Faculty Senate will meet on Monday, October 14, 2002, in the Faculty Lounge in the Carlton Union Building.
Senators and invited guests meet for dinner at 6:00 p.m. The meeting begins at 6:45 p.m. and all faculty
members are encouraged to attend. The agenda will be posted on the Faculty Senate intranet site at
https://beret.stetson.edu/facultv_senate/. Minutes of the Faculty Senate meeting held September 16, 2002, are

The University Faculty will meet on Friday, October 18, 2002, from 11:45 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. in the Stetson Room.
The topics for discussion include an update on budget stabilization; the Council of Deans proposal regarding quality
points (available online at the Senate site https://beret.stetson.edu/facultv_senate/): and the proposal regarding the
addition of Library to the Tenure and Promotion Committee (this assumes that it passes the Senate on Oct 14). A
