REMINDER-FACULTY INTERESTED IN CROSS-LISTING COURSES WITH THE WGS PROGRAM: If you have a
course that you would like to have considered for cross-listing with the Women and Gender Studies (WGS) Program
for Spring 1999, please submit a course syllabus or a detailed course description (including the course title, major
topics, readings, course objectives, etc.) AND a narrative description explaining why the course is appropriate to
cross-list with the WGS Program to Nancy Vosburg, Unit 8423, by Monday. August 31. For more information

STETSON INSTITUTE FOR SOCIAL RESEARCH. The Stetson Institute for Social Research (SISR) is now hiring
students to work on two telephone interview surveys on Volusia County and Florida State election issues. SISR
will be conducting these polls for the Davtona Beach News Journal between September 2 and the end of October.
We are looking for mature, dependable students with good telephone and organizational skills. Research experience
is NOT required, but interviewers will be required to attend a training session. The interviews will be conducted
on weekday evenings between 6:00 and 9:00 p.m. and on weekends between 1:00 and 8:00 p.m. Students need
not work every shift. The pay is $6.50 an hour. Financial aid status will not be affected by employment. Please
call students' attention to this opportunity. They may pick up a SISR employment application in Room 219 Davis
