ANNOUNCEMENTS
REMINDER-COMMENCEMENT. The Fall Commencement is scheduled for Saturday, December 19, 1998, at 9:00
a.m. in the Edmunds Center. Professor Gary Bolding is the Commencement Speaker. The line of march will form
in the west corridor of the Edmunds Center at 8:30 a.m. If anyone needs to borrow academic regalia please
contact Maggie in the Office of Academic Affairs. Faculty are cordially invited to the President's Reception for
students, parents and friends which will follow immediately after the ceremony in the Hollis Center.

REMINDER-FINAL GRADES FOR ALL STUDENTS ARE DUE IN THE REGISTRAR'S OFFICE BY 9:00 A.M. TUESDAY,
DECEMBER 22. Please do not forget to sign rolls and hand deliver them if at all possible to the Registrar's Office.
That way we can resolve any problems that may exist.
Faculty are reminded that the optically scanned grade rolls must pass through a machine to be read, and therefore,
cannot be folded, stapled, or mutilated in any way. Errant marking of the form will cause it to be rejected. We
also request that you pay particular attention to the instructions on the form so that errors may be minimized.

DUPONT-BALL LIBRARY CLOSED DURING CHRISTMAS INTERIM
REMINDER-The Library will be closed to users during the Christmas interim, Saturday, December 19, through
Sunday, January 10, to allow for intensive renovation work. University faculty and staff requiring special
assistance may call ext. 7175 during regular office hours and we will do our best to accommodate your needs on
a case-by-case basis. The Library's catalog, databases, and virtual collection links will continue to be available from
our homepage, www.stetson.edu/departments/library. We will try to make individual arrangements to check
materials out to faculty and staff during the interim. Returns may be made through the book drop at the entrance.
