The second week of the summer session draws tc close with everything running smoothly at Stetson University. Final entailment figures -
including all late registrations and minus all withdrawals - total 279 students,
a new record for summer attendance. This includes representatives from 14
states, the Philippine Islands, and from 31 Florida counties.
Of the total of 279 students, 254 are enrolled in the College of
Liberal Arts and 25 in the College of Law. The women have the edge on the
men in numbers - 169 to 110. According to religious preference, we have 102
Baptists, 82 Methodists, 34 Presbyterians, 18 Episcopaleans, 12 Christians,
eight Congregationalists, seven Catholics, two Christian Scientists, two
Lutherans, one United Brethern, and eleven signifying no preference.

Harold M. Giffin, popular tenor singer and professor of voice at
Stetson, will give a concert this evening, in the University auditorium at •
7:30. This vail be the second of the "twilight hour" series of weekly
programs* He will be accompanied by Mrs.*Eulalie Wooten, instructor in art
appreciation*
Fresident and Mrs. Allen's reception last week in Chaudoin hall,
the first "twilight hour", was well attended by students and faculty alike.
Everyone reported having an excellent time. A group of DeLand high school students, under the direction of John J. Heney of the Stetson music faculty,

Miss Lola B* McCollough, dean of women, extends a cordial invitation
to all of the women students of the summer session and to all faculty members
and their wives to attend an informal tea at Chaudoin hall next Wednesday afternoon, June 29, from 4 to 5* Dean McCollough's teas are known for their charm.

Professor Robert W. Severance announces a change in schedule at the
Carnegie Library* The library is now open to students' at 7:15 a.m. instead
of 8 to accommodate those who drive in from neighboring towns for a few hours
only each day. Closing hours are the same as announced in last week's NETS
LETTER*
