This diminutive arid erstwhile
newspaper launches now into its fourth
summer of publication, if one may bo
permitted to distinguish its fabrication
by that name* Although you may view
its slender proportions with misgivings* you will undoubtedly discover before the noxt six weeks hayo passed
that the Stetson Weekly News-Lotter is
quite an indispensable medium for
getting the news and views of our summer
session activities around to everyone.
In its columns—there'll be four full j
ones each week* we pledge you—- you i
will notice announcements from the pres-j
ident, the deans-* the registrar, the
bursar, the bookstore, the library, and
almost anyone else who wishes to use
the News-Letter as a circulating bulletin board*
Once in a while when news is
soarce, the writers of our literary gem
might even %ry to entertain you, dear
reader* If we fail, let us know, and
if we succeed* buy a couple of dozen
extra copies* The price per copy ar
for a six-weeks* subscription is not
more than your good will, your patience*
and your contributions of news materials

Goncord Baptist Church, near Madison,
next Sunday morning, Dr, Allen is slated-
to develop the topic, "We Look at the
Next Hundred Years9*

Stetson this summer when he speaks here

Dyer, says Dean Benson VJ# Davis* For
30 years a professor Of economics at
Vanderbilt University, Dr. Dyor will
address students, faculty members and
towns people on topics of current interest.
The Stetson appearance by Dr*
Dyer will be the first in a series of 70
that the Vanderbilt scholar is making
under the sponsorship of the Southern
States Industrial Council* The place
will be in the chapel* and no charge
will be made*
The second speaker will visit
here on Monday, June 23* to address
