PLEASE ANNOUNCE TO YOUR CLASSES: The faculty and students involved in the Women and Gender Studies
program are planning a MID-MORNING MUNCH at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 21, in the Lobby of Sampson Hall.
All faculty, students, friends, and parents are cordially invited to enjoy refreshments with us and learn more about

The Faculty Senate is sponsoring a forum to discuss the Alcohol Task Force Report. It will be held October 27 at
4:00 p.m. in the Lynn Center, Room 100. There will also be a forum to consider the recommendations of the
Deferred Rush Evaluation Committee on October 31, at 10:00 a.m. in the Lynn Center, Room 100. Copies of both
reports are available at the Reserve Desk of the duPont-Ball Library.

FAMILY WEEKEND IS ALMOST HERE! During the weekend of October 21 st through 23rd, Stetson University will
host students' families in our traditional Family Weekend Celebration. "Warm Sun. . .Cool Breezes" is the theme
of this year's weekend which will allow families to share in the lives and activities of their Stetson students as well
as meet some of the faculty and staff. Please feel welcome to attend some of the events during the weekend.
Some highlights include:
• The President's Reception on Saturday, October 22 (9:00 - 10:00 a.m.) at Dr. Lee's home.
• The President's Address on Saturday, October 22 (10:15 - 11:00 a.m.) in Elizabeth Hall Auditorium.
• Stetson Stars, the traditional student/faculty talent show on Saturday, October 22 (8:00 - 10:00 p.m.) in the
Edmunds Center.
