The Mastrogiacomo Duo-Norma and Leonard Mastrogiacomo, duo-pianists in residence at Florida State University,
will perform in Elizabeth Hall Auditorium today, Friday, October 27, at 7:30 p.m. The Mastrogiacomo's have
studied in Italy with individual Fulbright Grants and have recently received a National Endowment for the Arts grant
to commission new works for piano duo. Their program will include works by Mozart, Bach, Brahms, and Debussy.
Their performance is sponsored by the Artists and Lecturers Committee. From: Jan Kindred

REMINDER-WORKSHOP ON ORAL COMMUNICATION COMPETENCY: The Professional Development Committee
will hold a workshop on implementation and evaluation of oral communication competency on Wednesday-
November 8. at 4:00 p.m. in the Private Dining Room of the Carlton Union Building. The workshop will be followed
by dinner and informal discussion at 6:00 p.m. The program will be presented by Professors Michael McFarland
