COMMENCEMENT-EHA
REMINDER-CULTURAL STUDIES READING GROUP. The next Cultural Studies Reading Group meeting will be 4:00
p.m., today Friday, December 3, at Phillip Lucas's house (12 South University Circle). We will be reading a draft
of an article that examines how the cultural conditions of postmodernity have affected the viability of new religious
movements. All interested faculty are invited. For more information call me at ext. 8894, or 736-4856.

COMMENCEMENT-DECEMBER 12, 1:30 P.M. ELIZABETH HALL AUDITORIUM. Again this year Faculty will be
seated on the stage and the numbers will be strictly limited to the number who can be accommodated there-
approximately 28. The three academic deans and Sims Kline are working with their faculties to secure appropriate
representation. Those administrators who are eligible to march are excused from such participation this year.
All other faculty and administrators and their relatives are hereby encouraged to give seating preference to relatives
and friends of graduates and to wait until just before the service begins to take a seat.
The line-of-march will form at 1:00 p.m. in the hallway of Elizabeth Hall and will be published in next week's
edition of The Newsletter.
