ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Faculty Senate meets the second Monday of each month at 6:45 p.m. in the Private
Dining Room of the Carlton Union Building. All members of the faculty are invited to
attend. Dinner will be available at 6:00 p.m. at a cost of $4.50 each. If you are
interested in a dinner reservation, please contact Jane Bradford at ext. 7175 before noon
on Monday of the day of the meeting. The dates for the Senate meetings for the 1991-92
year are as follows:

The agenda for the September 9 meeting will include a report by Provost Brakeman on his
agenda for the new academic year, election of a chair for the Academic Affairs Committee
and reports from other Senate committees. Dr. Lee will join us at the September 9 meeting
for dinner and an informal sharing time.

FACULTY LOUNGE: Thanks to Dr. Lee and Dr. Beasley, coffee will be available weekdays
for the faculty in the Faculty Lounge. Drop by after 8:00 a.m. for coffee and

The Faculty Women's Caucus will meet on today Friday, September 6, at 10:00 a.m. in
Flagler Hall, Room 117, to elect a new coordinator and to discuss issues concerning women
faculty. We especially encourage the new women faculty to attend as the caucus is an

The Counseling Center Luncheon will resume on Wednesday, September 11, 1991. We will
begin at noon and dismiss around 1:30 p.m. We look forward to another year of fellowship.
