A reminder that advanced registration for the Winter Term and Spring Semester will be
held on Monday and Tuesday, November 5 and 6, from 1:00 - 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday,
November 15, from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. The Registrar's Office will open at noon on November
5 and 6, and at 10:00 a.m. on November 15 to accommodate the registration period.

SAMPSON GALLERY: November 5-December 14. Martin Hoffman: Paintings from the Realist
Period. While living in New York City from 1972 through 1989, Martin Hoffman, a native
Floridian, received international recognition for a diverse body of work that explored
a number of different styles. This exhibition, the first since his move to Daytona,
focuses on the large realist works of the early to mid-eighties.
The Admissions Open House is being held this Saturday, November 3. A reminder to all
faculty participating in this event that the two department meetings are scheduled for
11:00 a.m. to 11:25 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Lunch will begin at noon around
the Holler Fountain. Please contact me if you have any questions. Thank you all for

WALKING TOOR—A conducted walking tour of Stetson's historic buildings is scheduled for
Founders' Day, November 5, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. The "tourists" will be entering three
buildings: DeLand Hall, Elizabeth Hall (first floor and Chapel), and Sampson Hall (first
floor entry and gallery). Faculty, staff, and students are most welcome.
