ANNOUNCEMENTS
On Friday, November 3, 1989, there will be a dedication ceremony of the Woodland
Boulevard Landscaping, at 1:30 p.m. Hulley Tower. There will be a reception
immediately following in Chaudoin Parlor. From: Office of Development
WALKING TOUR: A walking tour of Stetson's historic buildings is scheduled Founders'
Day, November 3, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., with refreshments in the Parlor of Chaudoin
Hall. The visitors will only be entering three buildings: DeLand Hall, Elizabeth
Hall (first floor and Chapel), and Chaudoin. Everyone is welcome.

As part of the National Education Week sponsored by the Union of Concerned Scientists,
Dr. Ralph A. Llewellyn from the University of Central Florida, will give a public talk
on Monday, November 6, at 7:30 p.m. in Davis Hall Auditorium. The title of his talk
is "Global Warming: The Ultimate Energy Crisis." Dr. Llewellyn has had numerous
papers published relevant to the environment.

REGISTRATION OFFICE HOURS. A reminder that advanced-registration for the spring
semester and winter term will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 7 and 8, from
1:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, November 9, from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. The Registrar's
office will be open at noon on Tuesday and Wednesday and at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday to

COLLEGIATE INDENTURED SERVITUDE PROJECT (CISP). Stetson University's chapter of
Habitat for Humanity will hold an indentured servitude (slave) day on Saturday,
November 18. Students will be available to do almost any kind of work not pertaining
to academia. Proceeds, which consist of contributions given to Stetson's Habitat by
participating servant renters, will be donated to the West Volusia Chapter of Habitat
for Humanity. This is an excellent opportunity to get someone else to do those things
you refuse to do (dust, mop, rake, etc.). For further information, or to reserve a
