Upcoming recitals and concerts for your calendar:
Tonight, Friday, November 10—The Concert Choir, with conductor Duncan Couch, will
perform in Elizabeth Hall at 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, November 11—The Jazz Ensemble, with conductor David Schmidt, will perform
at 8:00 p.m. in Stover Theatre.
Sunday, November 12— Faculty Composition Recital (Feasel, Kindred, Langston,
McKnight, Sleeper) at 3:00 p.m. in Elizabeth Hall.
Friday, November 17—Thorn Sleeper and the University Orchestra will perform Mozart,
Mahler, and the world premier of Harold Blanchard's Piano Concerto, with Michael
Rickman at the piano. Hear the background story of Blanchard's concerto, with the
composer at the piano, before the concert, 7:15 p.m. in Elizabeth Hall. There will be
a 15 minutes break before the concert begins at 8:00 p.m.

The November meeting of the 1989-90 Faculty Senate will be held on Monday, November
13, at 6:45 p.m. in the Private Dining Room. The agenda will include a discussion
with Linda Glover on admissions-objectives of enrollment, strategic action plan, and a
special emphasis on the ways faculty can be involved in recruitment. The Educational
Policies Committee will bring recommendations on three topics: student grade
grievance procedure, the 1990-91 calendar, and plus and minor grades. All faculty are
invited to attend. Dinner will be available at 6:00 p.m. for $4.50. All those who
would like a dinner reservation should call Mitchell Reddish at ext. 547 by noon

of career and home on Tuesday, November, 14, at 4:30 p.m. in room 5L. Everyone
